Rolle im Projekt Manage+
Wvi has 3 main activities in the project:
- Wvi wants to develop a model/tool for a flexible management and exploitation structure that starts working as from the first regeneration developments and that continues working over the different phases of the development and beyond in order to make and keep the site sustainable for living, working and recreating.
- Wvi wants to create a marketing strategy and instrument (communication platform), that informs all actors (public – private – citizens - …) during all phases of the regeneration project and beyond.
- Wvi wants to develop public – private partnerships for investment and employment. During the development wvi will be the public development agency realizing the public space of the business parks. The businesses itself will buy the plots and invest in their premises. The city of Veurne assumes that the business park will create about 500 jobs. The realization of the housing will be a classic public – private cooperation between wvi and the social and private housing companies. For the nature development, divided in 3 axis: nature, park development and court yards, wvi wants to find the best solution through the Manage+ project.
Wvi is co-leader in different defined Manage+ activities, which means that the actual development leader is supported by wvi to develop the transnational results of the project.
